Absolutely love this place. The security guys are amazing anytime we had a problem with creeps they helped us out and watched out for us. They are all so friendly. Some of the best security guys I've ever met! The music was amazing as well. Love the overall atmosphere of the place. Big shoutout to James for watching out for us when we were there and for the great conversations! I am definitely coming back during my next trip.
Visiting from out of town and my friends took me here (for clubbing). The night I went there was a pretty diverse age demographic which I enjoyed, (seemed like early 20s to 40s, everyone friendly). I recently got hooked on Paper Planes, even though I dont know whats in it, but Jess at the bar knew her stuff and made me exactly what I wanted, with a very artful garnish. She's a pro. Great experience, will definitely come back when visiting Edmonton
My partner and I were going out to celebrate and upon arriving we were greeted by a super friendly server named Mickey. It was our first time at the common and he sat us in a great spot and gave great drink recommendations. Our server was Matt and our first round of drinks were actually taken care of! I’m assuming Mickey shared with Matt it was our first time at the common and we were there celebrating our anniversary. The food was amazing! And the drinks were so creative and beautifully crafted! Overall a really special experience, great atmosphere, and fantastic staff!!!
The Common offered a great patio experience! The interior of the restaurant seems super cool though! I ordered the prairie fish and chips and it was outstanding! fries were salted to perfection and crispy! The fish had a tasty batter and was tender with a crispy outside! Food came out extremely fast and s/o to our server who great and friendly!
We loved this restaurant! We came for a date night and was pleasantly surprised at how good their food was. The prices were great too! The Chorizo Tapas was the hit of the night. Make sure you order this! The ravioli looked like a small portion but ended up being the perfect amount for me. We had the sticky toffee pudding, definite YES! We will be coming back to try more of their menu. Great service, great food and a really beat atmosphere.
I booked the common for a private event and could not have been more impressed with my experience. Kyla and Matthew took amazing care of us, accommodated all of our needs and truly went above and beyond. The event was flawless and all the guests were so impressed with the service, drinks, food, A/V quality and the decor/atmosphere. Thank you so much for everything. This was an important event for our family and we'll always remember how well we were taken care of.
Got to enjoy a private event at The Common today, food was excellent! Had many different handheld foods, but the star of the show was the taco bar. Had both corn tortilla and Naan and meats were beef, chicken, pork belly and yam as a vegetarian option. Really enjoyed the chicken and waffle appetizers as well. Staff were super kind and accommodating as well.
The food was surprisingly good. Interesting mix of flavours that works really well and gives a unique taste to the items. Loved the Ambience too, calm, chill and yet sophisticated. Perfect for a date night or a little grad/wedding celebration The mojito and brisket eye were a perfect!
